Volunteer Opportunities

Many volunteer opportunities are available during the school year. For many of the events PTO puts on, volunteers are needed to help set up, run the event, and clean up. There is a signup link on the PTO page.

Volunteer Requirements

Background checks are paid by the volunteer and reimbursed by the school office. See the school secretary for reimbursement forms, not the church office. Questions? Contact us.

Below are some ways to help out at the school:

Room Parent

Plan class parties. 4-5 parties a year. Snacks, crafts, and games are typical; parents also donate time and supplies.

Cultivate Ladies Luncheon basket. Each grade puts together a themed basket to auction off. You will work with other room parents to pick a theme and fill it.

Lunchroom Helper

Help prepare the lunch room. Wipe down tables and chairs, sweep, and get trays ready for serving. During lunch, help students open containers and packages (just the little ones).

Lunchroom helpers are offered compensation. For more information or to help, contact us.

Virtus

The Catholic Church, the Diocese of Cleveland, and All Saints School hold the protection of children as one of their highest priorities.

The Diocese requires Virtus safe-environment training for all employees and volunteers who have regular contact with children. St. John Vianney Church and All Saints School fully support and participate in the program.
